Many residential proposals promoted as pedestrian friendly suffer from a common flaw: they’re not located within walking distance of, well, much of anything. Certainly not within a pleasant stroll or bike ride of the restaurants, retail, recreation and other amenities residents seek out and prize.
One Metro West changed all that by being the next door neighbor to the innovative SoCo district and its 70 carefully curated restaurants, shops, and showrooms.
In addition to that, One Metro West will also have 6,000 square feet of retail designed to primarily serve the residents. A small boutique grocery store or bodega, a dry cleaners and other service businesses will be located on the ground floor facing Sunflower Avenue.
With jobs, shopping, and recreation nearby, One Metro West will draw residents who want to leave their cars behind a few times a day, improving the quality of life for Costa Mesans who live nearby, and across the city.
